Expert witness advice for the NSW EPA (STP confidential).
The NSW EPA were investigating the grounds for prosecution of a facility that had apparently breached its license limits. The facility was not unique, but the conditions it was subjected to on a seasonal basis, both climatic and loading were unique, and had repeatedly led to difficulties in maintaining a stable and robust process. ASpect was asked to provide specialist process advice as the basis for possible prosecution. The tasks involved a review of the sizing, operational set-up, loading, operations response, mitigation measures, and technical report preparation. Very tight time frames were met in the preparation of the report.
